3054 AD. The Tale of Black Rock Island

The story is about an aquatic settlement that exists in the shadow of an island called Black Rock. Inside, a dystopian artificial quantum intelligence controls the settlement’s cycle of life and death.

The AI Singularity 3054 AD

In the aftermath of the war, an electric, dichotomous artificial intelligence will completely take over the lives of the people on the planet.

How it’s going to happen. The human brain is lazy, and if it can find an easier way to process important data, it does so. The cortical centers that do the data analysis are activated later. Before they are activated, the subcortical, stereotyped system will already give the answer. And this feature of the human brain is perfectly and ruthlessly exploited by manipulative systems based on Artificial Intelligence developed through Deep Learning and Deep Fakes techniques. Thus, the human species succumbing to manipulative methods of persuasion will put existential shackles on itself.

Age of fine arts and martial arts

To understand the problem described in the story, it is necessary to familiarize yourself with some historical facts and understand the intricacies of human-digital-machine interaction. One of the underlying issues is that humans and machines have fundamentally different modes of operation. Machines are logical, precise, and literal, while humans are more flexible, creative, and interpretive. This can cause problems when humans interact with machines, as they may not always understand the limitations of the machine, or may expect it to behave in ways that it cannot. However, with the rise of digital technology in the late 20th century and the advent of artificial intelligence, the dynamic between humans and machines has changed drastically. Machines have taken over many tasks that were previously the sole responsibility of humans, and in some cases, they have even started to treat humans as serfs.

Pythagorean ideas did influence European civilization and art, particularly during the Renaissance period. The Pythagoreans believed that math and numbers were the basis of all existence, and that the relationships between numbers and proportions held great significance. This idea was incorporated into artistic practices such as perspective and symmetry, which became important features of Renaissance art. While it is true that Pythagorean ideas about harmony and proportion influenced some aspects of European art, it cannot be said to be the driving force of all European civilization and art. Regarding Leonardo da Vinci and E. A. Poe, both were indeed interested in the relationship between numbers and aesthetics. Leonardo da Vinci famously incorporated mathematical principles such as the golden ratio into his art, while Poe wrote about the importance of mathematical proportions in poetry. However, it is important to note that both artists were also influenced by other philosophical and cultural ideas, and their work cannot be reduced to a single focus on numbers and proportions.

It is subjective to determine which drawing of Leonardo da Vinci is the most mysterious as different people may have different interpretations and opinions. However, one of the most enigmatic drawings by Leonardo da Vinci is the Vitruvian Man, which depicts a naked male figure in two superimposed positions with his arms and legs outstretched forming a circle and a square. The drawing is believed to represent the ideal proportions of the human body, but its complex symbolism and hidden meanings have fascinated scholars and art enthusiasts for centuries.
